The Academy promotes education in the field of cosmetic and adhesive dentistry by sponsoring two scientific sessions each year. They help promote the exchange of new ideas, with the latest information for practice development and cosmetic and adhesive procedures.

WINTER MEETING
The Winter Meeting is held in beautiful San Francisco at the Fairmont Hotel. There is a guest lecturer for one day, from a field that is at the cutting edge of aesthetic dentistry. A discussion period is held at the end of the meeting for all participants. This includes an update on some of the latest advances in the field of adhesive dentistry, and a review of the proper use of new dental materials recently introduced to the profession, by our Executive Director Dr. Harry Albers.

SUMMER MEETING
The Summer meeting is held at Chaminade in Santa Cruz. Lasting two days, this meeting includes a nationally and internationally known speaker and case presentations by the members looking to obtain Full Membership status and materials update.

A "pearls" session is also part of this experience which opens a dialogue, where all the participants can exchange ideas and suggestions, useful techniques, practice management tips and learn new adhesive methods. The motivation, camaraderie, delicious food and beautiful setting of Chaminade has made these meetings a must-attend event. Several social activities are also planned: a welcome reception and a banquet where the new president is introduced. The entire family is welcome!
